Laura is a Town Planner with more than 20 years’ experience in private practice, including in economic consulting.

She has experience planning a wide range of properties in the retail and leisure/entertainment sectors, and coordinates multidisciplinary consulting teams to deliver complete and comprehensive application materials.

Laura has appeared on behalf of private clients at Planning Panels Victoria, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation.

Her recent career highlights include a highly complex project providing planning advice to Victoria Racing Club on rezoning surplus land for residential development at Flemington Racecourse; and attending an Urbis retail study tour of the US and Asia, where she provided delegates with a planner’s perspective on some of the biggest and best shopping centres in the world, as well as the legislative regimes that had facilitated their development.

Whether it’s seeing a new illuminated business sign or a $500 million retail expansion, I like knowing I’ve contributed to the urban fabric of Melbourne.
