Snapshot 2026 Q1:
New apartment pricing increased to approximately $19,000/sqm in Q2 2026, up from $17,100/sqm in Q1, returning to near recent highs. Elevated pricing continues to reflect construction costs, project mix and product specification.
Two-bedroom apartments remained the most actively traded product type in Q2 2026, accounting for the largest share of national apartment sales.
Owner-occupiers remained the largest buyer cohort nationally, with local investors continuing to support demand and offshore purchaser activity remaining below historical levels.
