Paul Hardyman

Paul is a senior leader of Urbis’ large Brisbane studio of Urban Designers and Landscape Architects. He began his career in Sydney in 1988 and is now one of Australia’s most experienced landscape architects. He has worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Hawaii and Brisbane on an extensive array of projects. These include sporting and events infrastructure, civic spaces, shopping centres, streetscapes, commercial projects, business parks, on-structure landscapes, residential developments, aged-care facilities, tourism developments and educational campuses. Clients value Paul’s broad experience, creativity and expertise from concept development through to project construction. He has enjoyed creating intimate and meaningful sub-tropical, people-focused places within Brisbane’s large scale Queen’s Wharf Integrated Resort Casino development. Paul has also been excited to redevelop Brisbane’s Howard Smith Wharves into a vibrant world class entertainment precinct within extensive riverfront parkland.
