Lorena is a multiskilled designer with a keen interest in urban projects that range in scale – from large civic precinct regeneration master plans to small pockets of neighbourhood public realm. She loves applying her design skills to the creation of sustainable, inclusive, exciting, and aesthetically curated environments where humans can thrive.
Lorena’s background as a Spanish architect gives her a solid multidisciplinary foundation. This ranges from high level urban design, to detailed built form concept and delivery. Her passion for travel and experience working overseas gives her a unique ability to apply inspiration and learnings from a vast array of cultures to all her work.
Since joining Urbis, Lorena has had important creative leadership roles on some of the state’s most strategic and significant city shaping projects, including Cavill Avenue and The Esplanade Master Plan, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane and South Bank Master Plan.
