Lorena is an accomplished and empathetic designer whose expertise ranges from high‑level urban strategies to detailed public realm concepts and project delivery. She is known for crafting compelling narratives that shape sustainable, inclusive and engaging urban environments where people can thrive.
With a background as a Spanish architect and international experience, Lorena brings a diverse perspective and excels in emotive storytelling, guiding clients, stakeholders and authorities through the design journey. Since joining Urbis in 2016, she has played creative leadership roles in major Queensland projects including Queen’s Wharf Brisbane, the Surfers Paradise Master Plan and the South Bank Master Plan.
Lorena also shares her knowledge through seasonal lecturing and tutoring in design at the University of Queensland.
