Scott Douglas is a real estate strategist and advisor with more than three decades of experience helping institutions and investors make confident decisions about complex property portfolios. He brings a practical perspective shaped by delivering major developments and by directly managing the capital, risk and performance of significant real estate assets and portfolios. Scott works alongside clients to connect investment thinking with delivery realities – testing feasibility, shaping portfolio directions, strengthening business cases and building alignment across stakeholders. His background spans fund and portfolio management, major project delivery and corporate property strategy across commercial property sectors, health, education and aviation infrastructure, with a focus on decisions that are commercially sound and workable on the ground. He has led teams of practitioners and worked for organisations including QIC, Westfield, Queensland University of Technology, Mater and Brisbane Airport Corporation – helping teams navigate complexity from early strategy and due diligence through to approvals, delivery and operational outcomes. Known for a measured, collaborative style, Scott brings clear commercial judgement, disciplined financial analysis and a strong appreciation of how assets perform for users and communities.
