Chris joined Urbis in September 2017 as an experienced urban planner, specialising in both statutory and strategic planning matters for a diverse range of clients and industry sectors.
Drawing upon his experience working in previous roles in New South Wales, Chris is outcome driven and provides an efficient client-based approach in the management of the planning approvals process, realising the timely completion of projects to a high standard.
His attention to detail means that he is well equipped to provide guidance on complex development proposals. He has been responsible for preparing complex development applications including State Significant Development Applications (SSDAs) and Planning Proposals for a wide range of development types across land uses and sectors.
Chris has a strong passion for the education sector and has been actively involved in a wide range of school and university projects. His extensive knowledge of the State Environmental Planning Policy (Infrastructure and Transport) 2021 means he is well equipped to provide detailed strategic planning pathway advice to both public and private sector education clients on many significant projects often requiring the phased delivery of works and operations.
Chris also possesses extensive experience in delivering planning approvals for data centre clients – work that demands a deep understanding of the unique operational and technical requirements of data centres.
He has highly developed skills in policy analysis and brings a solutions-focused approach to delivering the desired outcomes for his clients.
