Ashley Lane is an urban planner who specialises in guiding major developments through to approval, employing his expert knowledge of development application processes.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning and 20 years’ experience in private consultancy and local government, Ashley has a thorough understanding of the broad range of factors influencing development within the urban planning sphere. At Urbis, he evaluates planning controls and recommends best use options, negotiates aspects of developments with various stakeholders, and formulates strategies for complex development applications and planning processes.

Ashley has worked on many high-rise developments in Brisbane’s CBD, including mixed-use, office and residential buildings. Recent project highlights include 111 Mary + 222 Margaret, Carrington Tower, 180 Brisbane, Hermes Tower and a new student accommodation precinct in Adelaide and Wharf Street.
