We are thrilled to announce that our efforts have been recognised with a Bronze Tier status in the Australian Workplace Equality index AWEI.
AWEI is a national standard for LGBTQ+ inclusion awarded by Pride in Diversity under ACON.
The AWEI drives best practice in Australia and sets a comparative benchmark for Australian employers across all sectors, we are proud to be recognised amongst Australia’s leading employers for our LGBTQ+ practices.
Receiving the Bronze Tier status is a responsibility that we take seriously. We have worked together to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all our employees, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Recognition such as this is validation of our policies, practices, and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion.

The AWEI is a comprehensive, evidence-based benchmarking instrument that annually assesses workplaces in the context of their progress and impact on LGBTQ+ inclusion initiatives. It is a guiding light for best practice in Australia and something that believe all organisation should strive to follow.
Why is this accreditation so important?
Of course the most important task is for us to create an inclusive environment for our people. We know that embracing diversity fosters an environment of different perspectives, ideas and experiences, leading to higher rates of innovation.
Gaining objective recognition from an independent body gives us the reassurance that we are meeting industry standards and also provides a roadmap for how we can make our organisation an event better place to work for all.
AWEI recognition is also a public record of our dedication to cultivating a workplace where every person feels appreciated, respected, and a sense of belonging.
