Zena is an urban planner with experience spanning Victoria, Queensland, the United Kingdom and Ireland. She has delivered major master planning and precinct projects for both public and private sector clients, bringing a global perspective to local challenges. Before joining Urbis in 2023, Zena was based in London, where she specialised in town centre and precinct revitalisation. In her role in London, she managed complex and high-profile strategic projects, leading extensive stakeholder and community engagement programs to ensure outcomes were shaped by the people they serve. Since joining Urbis, Zena has contributed to significant precinct and master planning initiatives, including advisory roles for the Suburban Rail Loop East project, Yarra Park Master Plan, Albert Park Pit Building redevelopment, and the future evolution of La Trobe University’s Melbourne campus. Her breadth of experience across diverse contexts enables her to approach each project with fresh insight, balancing strategic vision with practical delivery to create places that work for communities now and into the future.
