Rajiv Mahendran is an experienced economist with a strong interest in economic policy. At Urbis, his focus is on the residential market, bringing together a passion for social and affordable housing and a data driven, evidence-based approach to addressing Australia’s housing crisis; working closely with government and the private sector to unlock value and find solutions to key challenges in delivering housing. Rajiv’s experience covers a broad range of projects from strategic policy/portfolio advice to due diligence and market research, focusing on translating complex data analysis into meaningful insights for clients through a deep understanding of the property market. Recent projects include Melbourne’s Social Housing Renewal Program, Arden Renewal Precinct, supporting applications for the HAFF Round 3 and a range of Build-to-Rent developments.
