Mietta Gleeson

Mietta has extensive experience in the Victorian planning system, working across a broad range of statutory and strategic planning projects which span various areas of metropolitan and regional Victoria. Having been a member of Urbis’ planning team for 8 years, Mietta has gained experience in a range of planning sectors, with exposure to a variety of projects at diverse scales and complexities. Her experience includes facilitating a broad range of land use and development applications, as well as coordinating post-approval submissions to Council. Mietta has strong experience with residential and mixed use developments, with a particular focus on redevelopment projects in the established suburban areas of Metropolitan Melbourne. A large amount of her work is located in the central city environment. These large scale projects are often under the jurisdiction of the Minister for Planning and Mietta assists in providing advice and managing the complex approvals pathways. She is known for her efficiency, project management skills and approachable nature.
