Jamie Govenlock is a Town Planner who specialises in strategic and statutory planning, master planning and project management. He has more than 25 years’ experience in local government and private consulting.

Jamie holds a Graduate Diploma in Urban Policy and Planning and a Bachelor of Applied Science specialising in town planning from RMIT University. At Urbis, Jamie conducts master planning for new communities; completes rezonings and planning scheme amendments; facilitates major residential, commercial, retail and industrial development projects; and provides high-level strategic advice to key clients and government bodies. He is also a well-regarded expert witness, regularly appearing before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Planning Panels Victoria.

Over his career, he has been involved in a variety of large-scale projects, including gaining planning approval for Australia’s tallest building by roof height – Australia 108 – and acting as the principal advisor for major supermarkets during roll-outs across Victoria.
