Daniel Quan
Associate Director

Dan is an Associate Director at Urbis with 14 years’ experience in sustainable mobility and decarbonisation across Australia and the UK. He works with public and private sector clients to deliver projects that champion active travel, zero‑emission transport and people‑first street design.
Recently returning from London, Dan has played a key role in advancing sustainable travel initiatives, leading multi‑modal corridor planning studies for Queenstown Road and Garratt Lane in Wandsworth, and Hospital Bridge Road in Richmond. These projects balanced sustainable transport improvements with motor vehicle needs, guided by the Healthy Streets approach, placing movement and place at the heart of design.
His portfolio also includes a kerbside strategy for the London Borough of Haringey and a street type framework for Hammersmith, further demonstrating his expertise in applying movement and place principles. As an author of the forthcoming Manual for Streets 3, Dan has contributed to embedding people‑first principles in street design, helping shape more liveable, connected communities.
