Urbis’ Planning and Heritage teams assisted WKJ Pty Ltd in gaining development approval for a boutique apartment building in Kurraba Point. The site enjoys a naturally beautiful setting with views to Sydney Harbour, although required careful planning due to its topography, proximity to neighbours and heritage context.

Drawing on our experience managing complex planning applications, Urbis provided advice and documentation to support negotiations with North Sydney Council and ultimately secured the development approval from the North Sydney Local Planning Panel.

The development will deliver 14 high-amenity apartments within a building that remains contextually responsive, while embodying a bold design outcome that successfully manages environmental impacts.

The project delivers a bold renewal outcome for a site which enjoys a naturally beautiful setting and high levels of amenity.
