Stephen Imrie is a highly experienced real estate professional having worked in both the UK and Australia for over 20 years. Stephen’s principle focus is on capital transactions across all property sectors leveraging his extensive network of investors both domestic and offshore.
Stephen has held several senior positions at various global real estate agencies in London and Melbourne. His experience covers both Investment Management and Capital Markets, having transacted over $4bn across office, industrial and retail sectors.
Stephen has also been involved in the establishment real estate funds, throughout the full investment cycle – from inception, acquisition of assets, active management and subsequent divestment.
Stephen’s areas of expertise and market knowledge enable him to provide clear, insightful and thorough advise when identifying opportunities that align with client’s investment parameters.
Some of Stephen’s key projects include:
- Transactions – $500m of commercial sales across the Melbourne CBD and City fringe markets consistently exceeding client’s expectations. Successful sales include 40 Market Street, 484 St Kilda Road, 606 St Kilda Road and 370 Docklands Drive. Advising on the sale and acquisition of assets throughout the UK including several portfolio transactions each in excess of $200m.
- Fund creation – integral part of a team responsible for establishing a sector specific Fund in the UK. Responsible for asset acquisitions, asset management and divestment resulting in an annualized return to investors in excess of 30%.
- Investment management – management of several discretionary UK based pension funds. Multi sector portfolios with a focus on acquisitions, divestments and asset management. Achieved consistent outperformance of the designated industry benchmark indices.
