Russell McKinnon is an accomplished valuer and an expert in the industrial, commercial and residential sectors of Greater Western Sydney.

His astute, insightful valuations are the product of his collaborative approach, drawing on Urbis’ multidisciplinary expertise. He has valued numerous major industrial, residential and commercial properties for leading institutional and private owners – including office parks such as Fraser’s Rhodes Corporate Park (>$300 million) and substantial residential estates such as Celestino’s Box Hill North development and UrbanGrowth NSW’s Menangle Park holdings.

Before joining Urbis in 2013, he worked for a number of public and private sector organisations including KPMG, Landcom, Colliers International and Transport for NSW. His extensive property experience and network helps him provide high-level valuation and advisory services to his clients.

In 2012, Russell led the property team advising NSW Treasury on the $5.1 billion sale of Port Botany and Port Kembla. He also advised UrbanGrowth NSW and Transport for NSW on the Parramatta Road Urban Renewal and Northwest Metro projects.

I work to bring together the collective expertise of everyone at Urbis, offering our clients a holistic approach that secures the best outcome possible – that’s our point of difference.
