Kirsten Wilson is an experienced Urban Designer with a foundation in landscape architecture.

She specialises in greenfield residential urban design in Queensland, with experience in all phases of the design development process – from initial concept formation and sketch design to finalising detailed plans for approval. Kirsten recognises the importance of understanding housing products and their practical applications, as well as factors influencing design, such as lot characteristics, access, services and council parameters.

Clients and stakeholders appreciate Kirsten’s mix of high-level design thinking and technical expertise. She is an accredited EnviroDevelopment Professional, and strives to improve the sustainability and marketability of projects for Urbis’s clients. Kirsten’s experience includes leading the urban design of the residential component for Stockland’s Aura town centre; the structure planning and residential master plan concept design for Mirvac’s Greenbank development; and the master planning and concept design for part of Lendlease’s Yarrabilba development.

I’m passionate about creating distinctive new residential communities that let the site tell its own story – not forcing an outcome.
