Before joining Urbis in 2009, Andrew Lanarus worked in Sydney and London, contributing to several urban regeneration projects that reshaped city spaces, while managing heritage and social housing issues. He brings that experience and those skill sets to his clients in Australia.

Andrew is a trusted advisor to the private sector. He is recognised for his expertise in statutory and strategic planning, and regularly handles complex planning approvals. His detailed knowledge of the Victorian planning system has allowed him to facilitate urban and rural projects across the state, including a number of developments of state significance.

His career highlights include 447 Collins Street, a high-profile mixed-use multi-tower development on one of Melbourne’s most iconic streets; the 323-metre Queensbridge Tower in Southbank; and Burnham Beeches, a grand Art Moderne estate in Sherbrooke, Victoria.

The planning process can be complicated and unpredictable. I strive to make the process as painless as possible so clients can quickly realise their vision.
