British architect Zaha Hadid has designed her first building in Melbourne, a 54-level mixed-use tower for local developer Landream at the western end of the CBD.

The Landream tower has undergone a “significant” reduction in height and extended setbacks from neighbouring buildings to comply with the new rules, said Maugan Bastone, a director of planning consultancy director Urbis, who is working on the project.
