Adelaide joins the Urbis Self Storage Index.

Following the continued growth and maturity of the self storage industry, as well as demand from market participants we have commenced an index to track the performance of the Adelaide market.

The Urbis Storage Index will monitor approximately 40% of the self storage market in Adelaide across a range of operators and locations within the Adelaide metropolitan area.

The theme of negative fee rate growth is continued in this edition, with the exception of two stand out markets being the Auckland and Melbourne Inner Zones demonstrating fee rate growth of 5.14% and 2.65% respectively. Occupancy has remained generally stable.

The data in this report relates to the six-month period from June 2019 to December 2019. Click the image below to download your copy.
