Sydney continues to lead storage fee rate growth with an average growth factor of 3.8% over the past 6 months, according to the latest Urbis Storage Index (USI). 

However, higher fees rates have impacted occupancy rates within the Sydney market demonstrating a general decline in occupancy. Other major metropolitan areas have also shown growth in storage fee rates at levels marginally below that applicable to the Sydney market.
