Urbis is proud to congratulate Brisbane Social Planning Director, Stephanie Wyeth, for her recent appointment to the Board of the South Bank Corporation.

South Bank is one of Brisbane’s most vibrant spaces and is fast becoming one of Australia’s most internationally recognised attractions. It is home to more 150 of Queensland’s most popular cultural events. The new South Bank Corporation Board will guide this world-class precinct into a new era, with new board members bringing a wealth of experience in infrastructure, urban planning, business and design.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Stephanie brings significant depth of experience into the South Bank Corporation Board. She specialises in social planning across government, NGO, academic and private sectors, with particular expertise in social infrastructure and master planning projects.

It is a great privilege to take on this board membership of the South Bank Corporation. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help deliver real outcomes that will benefit the community over the next three years.

Stephanie also currently sits on the Professional Development Committee for the Queensland division of the Planning Institute of Australia.

Stephanie will be joined by eight other Board Members, with Dr Catherine Bull AM serving as the new Chairperson. Other Board Members include: Ms Susan Forrester, Mr Matthew Miller, Ms Andrea Kenafake, Mr Timothy Quinn, Mr Richard Kirk, Mr Michael Power AM and Mr Stuart Moseley from the Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning
