Australia’s number one property conference, The Property Council of Australia’s (PCA) Property Congress, was held on Hamilton Island in October.

Bringing together industry leaders, the annual event addresses the big issues driving property development and investment in Australia and globally. At Urbis we’re proud of our ongoing support of the PCA and a mix of our experts from across the country attended.

The property world has been stepping up to drive change and build a more inclusive industry. The PCA’s commitment to change is outlined in this #DiversityDelivers video, featuring Urbis’ Clinton Ostwald.

A key theme of the conference was the future of Australian cities. What will or should they look like in 50 years? How do we get there?

Chief economist Nicki Hutley featured on the Future Cities panel to discuss these very questions and more. The panel included Professor Greg Clarke CBE, Graham Bradley AM, Agneta Persson, Holly Ransom and James Rosenwax.

Urbis managing partner John Wynne also features in a PCA video discussing the future of cities.

Another highlight of the PCA Congress was a showcase of three of the world’s most stunning projects. Moderated by Urbis’ design director Natalie Hoitz, the showcase looked at how these remarkable projects were created and the lessons learnt from them.
